About & History Of Gokarneswar Temple

This temple is situated in Jamubania & Jarka Vllage of Jajpur District. The temple worshiper said that the temple is from Pandav timing and there is a big history behind the Temple. The temple was created before 1000 Years ago.

The temple is beside National highway 16 so the people who go through the NH they must visit the old and natural beauty temple. This Gokarneswar Mandir situated in between Deuli pahad and Bramahani River.

The temple named Gokarneswar because Lord Siva et worshiped in form of Cow Ear in odia Goru Kana so people called the temple for that reason.

The devotes who wants visit the temple for them reference the temple is 1 K.M far from Jaraka and 28 K.M far from Jajpur town. & from Cuttack to Gokarneswar Mandir distance is 50 K.M & the temple is one of the old temple of jajpur.
